Business Development

Identifying new revenue sources outside of membership dues was one of my goals at the Arizona Society of CPAs. In my first year in this role, I increased advertising/sponsorship revenue by 36%. I use my achiever strength to set higher goals for myself and the organization each year and put together a plan to connect CPAs with companies that will help them succeed.

Innovation to Address Pandemic Challenges

A significant source of non-dues revenue for the organization is conference sponsorships. During the pandemic, all programming was shifted from hybrid to online. I quickly identified additional offerings for our partners that would make the investment valuable to them, while still bringing in revenue for the organization. I was able to retain 96% of sponsorship dollars through the 2020-21 fiscal year.

Strategizing With Partners

As a marketing professional, I use my skills to assist my sponsors in identifying the programs and publications that will reach their target audience with the information that will resonate with them. This builds trust with our clients and members. Our members receive education they need and connect with vendors who can help their businesses grow.
